My Life Advice As a Cancer Advocate

Here's my life advice having been a cancer advocate for 14 years with 8 members of my family diagnosed with cancer and my aunt and great grandparents dying young in accidents: NONE of us know how long we have. People are killed every day in accidents or from sudden heart attacks. The only thing we can control is putting ourselves in the best hands (medically and surgically), loving our family and friends, doing something that brings us joy and purpose and meaning, living a healthy lifestyle and having a positive attitude. As Abraham Lincoln said, "In the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." LIVE each day to the fullest with LOVE and Joy and Meaning and Purpose because that is more than most ever do. And let LOVE and GOODNESS be your legacy.
